Let's explore a specific glimmer of wisdom from one of my most successful friends.
beautiful and insightful
I'm so glad you liked it this post. I enjoyed sharing it.
I have been told that, when managing people, we should say, "Yes and..." instead of, "yes but...". I haven't fully adopted it yet, but I should try at work! Apparently it's less insulting and stressful to the listener.
This makes me giggle!
"yes and your appellate brief was the worst passive voice word salad ever drafted"
I mean I still have to make my point, right? :)
This is the "gentle management" that i cannot do naturally but i am trying!
You’re going to laugh when you see sunday’s email bc word salad is a topic of convo
i look forward to it!
Such a great take. I enjoyed this so and I am inspired to be better and use this in my day to day life...internally and externally.
It will be a new way of thinking for me and I'm excited to try it out.
